As part of Brink’s strategy, specifically our strategic talent pillar, we aim to attract, develop and empower the best people by strengthening core competencies across the company and fostering an inclusive culture that inspires excellence. We are committed to providing high potential employees with education and leadership exposure to support their development and advancement within the organization.

Identifying and accelerating our key talent

The Future Leaders Program helps to expand and diversify the talent pipeline, retain top performers, increase internal promotions, create inclusive succession plans and standardize development opportunities.

These types of program are vital for attracting new talent and retaining rising talent at Brink’s. In Q4 2023, the existing program kicked off in Europe and the rest of the world, as well as the same program being introduced in the Americas. Within Brink’s ATM Managed Services division, there are four participants on the current program: one from NoteMachine, one from TestLink, one from PAI and one from Global AMS.

The Future Leaders Program is a rigorous 12-month program, with candidates expected to commit to at least six to eight hours per month throughout the year. They learn through a combination of one-to-one and team sessions, team projects, presentations, site visits, business coaching and workshops.

Participant objectives and outcomes

With exposure to key business areas such as finance, strategic planning and project management, our future leaders leave the program equipped for new challenges, consolidating their knowledge and becoming better leaders and experts.

They will learn more about:

  1. Leading themselves: instilling trust, self-awareness and executive presence
  2. Leading the team – build organizational capacity, encourage excellence, communicate openly and effectively, build collaborative relationships and lead change
  3. Leading the business – Brink’s business acumen, strategic mindset, customer focus, financial acumen and delivering results
